The Indescon Internship Program aims to provide students from German institutions of higher education an opportunity to work and gain professional experience in software companies in India.

The Internship Program Director is responsible to overseeing the growth and development of this program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with universities, FH's and other Hochschulen in Germany to promote the program on their campuses
• Evaluate candidate applications
• Select and coordinate with companies for hosting interns from Germany
• Oversee arrangements for students' stay in India
• Prepare and maintain marketing materials for various program campaigns (ex. in universities, program flyers for events, information for website etc)

Candidate Background

• 5+ years professional experience, preferably in IT
• 1-2 years overseas experience
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills in both German and English

Time Commitment

• 6 - 10 hours per week
• High amount of telephone, email and blogsphere communication

Compensation

• This position is voluntary and no financial compensation is offered
• Travel and incidental expenditure is compensated at actuals
